We understand the importance of keeping a heating system clean. It is so much more energy efficient for your boiler to be heating clean water rather than dirty water.

 

The water inside the heating system becomes dirty due to the corrosion of the radiators. Once a radiator reaches a certain age the iron inside begins to flake off. And these iron particles will then collect and float around the system causing problems to the other working parts.

 

When a new boiler is installed it is even more important to keep the system clean. As part of our price of replacing a boiler we would include power flushing the system.

 

Power flushing a heating system normally takes a whole day.
To maintain a clean heating system the recommendation is to power flush every three to five years. The alternative to this is to install a MagnaClean, at an extra cost, after the first power flush.

 

The MagnaClean is installed next to the boiler collecting the
iron particles and protecting the boiler.
