Recent Bathroom Refit Case Study

Brief: This couple wanted a new bathroom but as with a lot of people were unable to visualise a new layout. The computer aided designs that we can produce can give the customer a really good idea of what the finished bathroom will look like.

Once they were happy with the design we then looked at tile options. We met at a local tile suppliers and were shown through many tile options to match the bathroom design they had already chosen. We brought their favourite tiles and positioned them in the bathroom to see how they looked.

We would normally take up all the floor boards and replace the wood with a moisture resistant tongue and grove chip board.
And then a 9mm plie board on top of that, then a special matting. This would make sure there is no movement in the new floor tiles. However when we took up all the old boards we discovered a lot of old pipe work that needed replacing. Including the boiler and heating pipework. The customer then thought it was best that we modernised the heating system before carrying on with the bathroom.

Outcome: The couple were delighted with their new bathroom and were very grateful of the opportunity to visualise the design through CAD drawings seeing exactly what they were getting.
